StoriesBehind”Hishan Blue“Swat Team“
There is no cat and mouse game here. The elite “Hishan blue” swat team is a squad from Hishan machinery that specializes in road cleaning and they are doing their utmost to keep Bei Jing, our nation’s capital, neat and clean.
During the 2014 APEC meeting in Beijing, issues about the air quality in Beijing were heated debated online, as the air had never been more breathable and the clear and blue sky deeply impressed many. Chinese bedizens nicknamed the blue sky the”APEC Blue″.
By the time of Oct, 2016, one eye-catching red heavy duty anti-pollution vehicle on Beijing’s Chang’an Street, the second ring road and the third ring road caught pedestrian’s eyeball. People jokingly call Hishan squad an heir to “APEC Blue″ and bring Beijinger the ″ Hishan blue”
Beijing Environment Sanitation Engnerring Group and Hishan Machinery joined hands for the first time to promote the use of heavy duty anti-pollution vehicle as this newly-designed vehicle can clean up road compaction, dusts, chemicals and other pollutants effectively. What’s more, it can significantly lower operation noise, reduce downtime, extend service life and bring down PM2.5 pollution.
perfect cooperation and perfect coordination
So much for the introduction of the anti-pollution vehicle, what you may not know are the people behind the scene and stories about them.
“Hishan Blue″ is larger than life as it is a technical support system over the wire that functions as the pivot connecting the Hishan Machinery, the anti-pollution vehicle maker and BESG,the vehicle owner. The whole support system consists of Hishan’s remote real-time monitor and technical support, on-site support technician and real-time operation data feedback system etc.
BESG attaches great importance to the first ever field test of Hishan anti-pollution vehicle. BESG mobilizes the best resources to ensure the whole testing process go as smooth as possible. Pace car from BESG cleared the road everyday and the water tanker followed each day while the anti-pollution vehicle carried out the test. Meanwhile, the″Hishan Blue” squad during the Beijing field test, received good care and help in accommodation and logistic support.
Mao Xin’gen operator of anti-pollution vehicle is mature and prudent with over 20 year’s experience of being a bus driver. During the Beijing field test, he was under the greatest pressure, as he was responsible for operating the millions of dollars worth of vehicle back and forth for over 100km through the Beijing’s notorious traffic every day while at the same time keeping an eye on all the feedback on the monitor. Plus, servicing and maintenance are also he and his teammates’ daily routine. During his time in Beijing, he lost a lot of weight due the heavy duty. He found it all worthwhile to make “Hishan Blue” stay.
Liu Chan, leader of the squad, knows vehicle assembly as well managing his team member. He was made team leader of squad by Hishan Machinery because of his meticulous working style. He was responsible for planning the daily test and monitoring the status of key parts of vehicle. Also, one of his routine was to send all the data to the Hishan control system. All the work eventually led to one single aim that was to keep the vehicle in best shape.
One and Only engineer
Lijie is the only on-site technical engineer among the squad, his unique white spectacle frames glasses made him easy to spot wherever his went. His daily job was going through all detailed and complicated data, sort out one report and send it to company HQ. Long time of not seen his baby boy often made him weep whenever he video chat with his family. Good for you, Lijie.
